Keats Island - one of the smaller islands in Howe Sound, located offshore from the community of Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast directly west of Bowen Island.

Keats Island offers mostly summer cabins with about 80 full-time residents. You can get to Keats by BC Ferries passenger ferry at the Langdale Ferry Terminal. Keats Island is also accessible by water taxi from Gibsons and Horseshoe Bay. Most homes are only accessible by water so there isn’t much need for a vehicle.

Gambier Island - approximately 125 long-term residents but the vacation homes it can increase to more than 600 in the summer months.  It’s only accessible only by B.C. Ferries passenger service, water taxi or personal boats. There are no central road network so vehicles are not required.
