Sandy hook was originally a summer cottage area and started to grow in the 1960's when a developer started building permanent homes.
Much of Sandy Hook still consists many smaller summer cottage style homes. However, in the past few years we are starting to see many newer modern homes. Many of these home overlook Sechelt Inlet with amazing views.
